Please come and help your Board out! These are monthly meetings, the second Saturday of the month through August. We will meet at 11:00 AM at Fuddrucker's, 1975 Diamond Blvd., Concord, in the Willows Shopping Center.

More info: To get there from Highway 680, Exit off at Willow Pass Road and travel northeast one block toward downtown Concord. After on block, turn left onto Diamond Blvd. Turn left at the first traffic light into the Willows Shopping Center and Fuddruckers will be straight in front of you.

Fuddrucker's opens at 11 AM and the meeting will start then. Meeting upstairs; lunch will be available - not required. If you want to consume lunch after the meeting, place your order when you arrive at the start of the meeting. Be sure to tell them that you are upstairs in a separate meeting room. We will get the food delivered upstairs.

Still in Planning:

  • No Sierra Passes Tour, Caltrans has no idea if the roads will be clear of snow before winter.
  • Len's Ice Cream Social on August 26th.
  • Maybe a Fall Colors Tour in October.

September 3: Meet the Australian Healey Owners

What: Meet five of the Australian contingent coming to Monterey International Healey Week 2017 at member Ken Nerlove's Elkhorn Peak Cellars for wine tasting and touring local Napa County back roads.

We will meet at Ken's Winery/Vineyard, Elkhorn Peak Cellars in Napa www.elkhornpeak.com in the morning around 9:00 AM. Ken will conduct a vineyard tour followed by a wine tasting. We can hang around and talk cars for awhile before proceeding to drive to another winery in the Sonoma Valley where we will have a picnic lunch and another wine tasting. We will pre-order sandwiches at a local deli that is on the way. After lunch, we will proceed on a drive through the beautiful Sonoma Valley ending up on the North end of the Napa Valley for the final drive down to the St Helena area where we will go our separate ways. The weather will be "warm" but the Valley will be full of grapes as this time of year is just prior to harvest. This will be a fun event with some neat roads and cool scenery. This will be a good opportunity to show our down South neighbors some nice warm Northern California hospitality.

More info: If you would like to attend or have questions, please contact Ken at 707-363-1794 or e-mail at Grapeman677@gmail.com.

The Motherlode is a great area for sports car rallies. Historic towns deserted back roads with scenic vistas, and many other treats await you.

The success of the Motherlode 400 is dependant on you. Good sportsmanship, a healthy respect for others, and plain common sense, are the most important things you can bring with you. That and a well prepared vehicle of course!

This event is a self-guided tour. Participants please feel to drive your own pace and stop as much, or as little as you like. Remember all normal speed limits apply.

But I need to remind you, this is not a race in any way. Please drive in a reasonable and prudent manner. All people who cannot drive that way will be asked to leave and will not be invited back.
